The Old Irish alphabet contains just the letters A to U. The letters on this bag appear in medieval Irish manuscripts in the collections of the Royal Irish Academy. Made in Ireland. They were designed by Fidelma Slattery here at the Royal Irish Academy. We collaborated with McNutt in Donegal who wove the fabric from recycled flax and Pixalili, also in Donegal, printed the design on the fabric.
