Thomas Leahy
Thomas Leahy is lecturer in Irish and British politics at Cardiff University. His areas of interest include the Northern Ireland conflict, the intelligence war between British intelligence and the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) between 1969 and 1998, the IRA and Sinn Féin, peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland since 1998, and Northern Irish and Irish politics. Recent publications include, 'The influence of informers and agents on Provisional Irish Republican Army military strategy and British counter-insurgency strategy, 1976-1994', in Twentieth Century British History (26) (1) (March 2015).
