Paul Bew is a Professor of Politics at Queen's University Belfast. His main research interest is in Irish history and politics. He is a Member of the Royal Irish Academy and an honorary fellow of Pembroke College, Cambridge. Amongst his publications is A Yankee in de Valera's Ireland. The memoir of David Gray (2012).
