Margaret Ward is Honorary Senior Lecturer in History at Queen's University Belfast. Her many publications include Fearless woman: Hanna Sheehy Skeffington, feminism and the Irish revolution (Dublin, 2019). Her pioneering book, Unmanageable revolutionaries: women and Irish nationalism (1983), was re-issued in a revised and updated edition by Arlen House in 2021.
