Ian d'Alton

Ian d'Alton is a visiting research fellow in the Centre for Contemporary Irish History at Trinity College, Dublin, and latterly was a Visiting Fellow at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. His research interests lie in the fields of southern Irish Protestantism from the eighteenth to the twentieth centuries, Anglo-Irish cultural history, and French medallic art in the early twentieth century. His recent publications include 'Journeying into a wider world: The development of the histories of the Church of Ireland since 1950', in M. Empey, A. Ford and M.
