Gabrielle (Gaye) M. Ashford completed a PhD at Dublin City University in 2012 on the history of children and childhood in eighteenth-century Ireland. She is co-editor of The letters of Katherine Conolly 1707-1747, published by the Irish Manuscripts Commission in 2018.
