Caoimhe Nic Dháibhéid is senior lecturer in Modern History at the University of Sheffield, and has previously held research posts at the University of St Andrews, Fitzwilliam College Cambridge and Queen's University Belfast. Her research interests include the history of Irish republicanism and the comparative history of political violence, and her current research project, which is funded by the Leverhulme Trust, is titled ?Emotions and the Irish Revolution?.
