Tim Wilson

Tim Wilson directs the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence (CSTPV) at St Andrews University. He is the author of both Frontiers of violence: conflict and identity in Ulster and Upper Silesia, 1918-1922 (Oxford University Press, 2010) and Killing strangers: how political violence became modern (Oxford University Press, 2020). As an Englishman writing on Irish history, he pleads the excuse that he finds English history really very dull indeed.
