Pádraig Ó Macháin is Professor of Modern Irish at University College Cork. His recent publications include Leabhar na Longánach: the Ó Longáin family and their manuscripts (Cork, 2018) and Paper and the paper manuscript (Cork, 2019). Pádraig is editor of the journal Ossory, Laois and Leinster and co-editor of An Linn Bhuí: Iris Ghaeltacht na nDéise.
