Jason Knirck is a professor of history at Central Washington University. His research focuses on the political culture of the Irish revolution, including intersections of revolutionary politics with notions of gender, dissent and empire. His most recent book is Afterimage of the Revolution: Cumann na nGaedheal and Irish politics, 1922-32 University of Wisconsin Press, 2014).
