Gerard Hogan is a judge of the Irish Court of Appeal and was a judge of the High Court. He was educated at University College Dublin, University of Pennsylvania, Trinity College Dublin and the King's Inns. He has wide experience in Constitutional Law, Administrative and public law and EU law. His book The Origins of the Irish Constitution, 1928-1941 was published by the Royal Irish Academy in 2012.
