Gavin Foster is associate professor in Irish Studies at Concordia University. In addition to publishing numerous articles, essays and chapters on aspects of the Irish revolutionary period, he is the author of The Irish civil war and society: politics, class, and conflict (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015).
